Lake Mead Depth Chart - Vlad702 - 10-27-2009 I would guess you need to subtract 60 feet from all numbers as of today. zoom in map and adjust overlay slider "NOAA"in top right corner http://demo.geogarage.com/noaa/?lat=36.1955251660701&lon=-114.33059692382812&zoom=10 [signature] Re: [Vlad702] Lake Mead Depth Chart - montananinnv - 10-28-2009 probably 60 in the deep spots. in boxcar cove it says 32 and when we were there in our raft, i fished the bottom and i would have guessed it maybe 20 feet at the most. probably more like 15ish. its down alot. i have heard usually its like 7 years that droughts last for and this one has more than worn out its welcome. hopefully colorado and utah get blasted with snow for a year or two and fill that sucker up. We should leave it there were it belongs. So far early indications are that this winter in the Rockies will be a drought breaker. They've already had a couple good storms with one going on now. 4 feet of fresh snow in the mountains west of Denver with just one storm. Hopefully it keeps up. [signature] |
