vest/net/magnet - peter805 - 11-25-2009 Ok , I think I got it.[] Installed one magnet to net with zip. Replaced magnetic ring on other magnet with non magnetic ring and instaled it on my vest/backpack. Also there is a safety cord on handle. Thank you everyone for they input on this project.[] Peter [signature] Re: [peter805] vest/net/magnet - flygoddess - 11-25-2009 Perfect! MAN that is a big net! I have a big one like that, but it has the long handle. I use it for guiding and my pontoon. When Guiding, I use it for a wading staff. I forgot to mention the cool little nets we got from William Joseph. They are made out of bamboo. The handle folds over, that you slide over your belt loop. Then attach a leash. I use them allot. http://www.williamjoseph.net/product_details.php [signature] Re: [flygoddess] vest/net/magnet - peter805 - 11-25-2009 Well, it just looks big. The opening is 15" and the handle is 12''. I went with the longer handle because I taught that it maybe easier to use the net from the shore without going into water. Would you have a picture of that belt loop net, please ? Peter [signature] Re: [peter805] vest/net/magnet - flygoddess - 11-25-2009 I posted it in the previous post after I posted it, so it is now an edit....LOL [signature] Re: [flygoddess] vest/net/magnet - Jim_T - 11-25-2009 Peter, Looks good. I attached my net with the zip as well but after tugging on it for a few months the zip broke. Not I use two and carry a small extra zip just in case. Doesn't take up any room and can be used for other repairs. Jim [signature] Re: [Jim_T] vest/net/magnet - flygoddess - 11-25-2009 I was wondering that...good idea.
