24 inch Paddingstone bass - peter805 - 07-14-2010 So I made a lost minute decision today and went fishing at Paddingstone. It was a really nice day but the fishing was very slow for me today for some reason. I caught only one bass a huge 24 incher. I was waiting for the last magic hour to hit the top water with some divers before they kick me out at 7:00 pm. Well the fire helicopter showed up (again) and they kicked everyone off the lake. Thanx god it was only one hour left but still that is the best hour. Anyways enjoy the pix.[] Peter [signature] Re: [peter805] 24 inch Paddingstone bass - flygoddess - 07-14-2010 LMAO I am glad you got your BFT measurements down[] [signature] Re: [peter805] 24 inch Paddingstone bass - BigBassaholic - 07-14-2010 Tubedude's measuring system on those big boys sure is rubbing off on you.... wow lol [signature] Re: [peter805] 24 inch Paddingstone bass - TubeDude - 07-14-2010 [cool][#0000ff]Nice goin'.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]Good to see that you have learned how to properly measure fish. I sure wish I had charged up my camera so I could have posted my pictures too. [sly] BTW did you get your wheel system to work how you wanted it? [signature] Re: [cpierce] 24 inch Paddingstone bass - peter805 - 07-15-2010 Well, Im still using the wheel that the toon came with. It is a pain in the a$$ to put it on and off because of the rear deck . I have to lift the toon up on my shoulder and try to put the wheel on .......................not easy. So Im still looking for a better way. Not sure where you could scavenge one. It would have to be centered until you get in the water, but then could be moved over to the side and out of the way of your reg motor if you have one. It was just a passing thought -- I haven't tried it. Good luck! [signature] Re: [cpierce] 24 inch Paddingstone bass - flygoddess - 07-15-2010 DANG! My old MinnKota kissed it last year and I just trashed the whole thing...That would be perfect for that! Girl, you are amazing! This could be something[laugh] Thanks another project[sly][fishin] [signature] Re: [idahopanfish] 24 inch Paddingstone bass - cpierce - 07-16-2010 You might have to add an L-bracket or a pin to keep it in place as you bump over rocks etc. Just something to catch on the bottom lip of your mount. They are more designed to stop a motor slipping downward rather than upward. Anyway interesting to mess with. At least then your wheel won't be taking up space or dragging in the water.
