First Musky - AFK2Fish - 10-01-2010 Been hiking some shoreline a few days throughout the last week casting big streamers trying to hook up with my first musky. After about 10 hours of walking and casting I hooked into my first musky today! Its nothing huge, but it sure got me excited. After one quick photo I released him and casted back out a few more times and hooked into my second one about 20 yards from where I caught the first. They were both well under 30" but that doesn't matter one bit to me! Good times! [signature] Re: [AFK2Fish] First Musky - JLG78 - 10-01-2010 Nice going man! Ive caught Musky on a spinning rod but never a fly rod. I bet that was wild. Do you still use some kind of heavy duty leader? or just normal tippet? Not many are willing to put in that kind of time.
