Three forks rods vs TFO - TylerKunz - 02-05-2013 So I'm looking at buying a basic second rod to have as a back up/ loner rod for friends and family. Don't want to spend alot and from what I have seen under $100 the best options are the cabelas three forks rods and the temple fork pro special fly rod. So I'm wondering if anyone owns either of these rods and what your thoughts are. Or if you know of any other rods around the same price please let me know! Thanks for your help! The Pro is an medium action. Very good learning rod, and fun. I second the Allens Fly Fishing rods. The new Compass is also a medium flex. Pretty light blue. My TFO has broke three times in the same spot, so I would never buy another.
