Weber walk in access? - TylerKunz - 02-24-2013 If any of you guys watched ksl outdoors last night they did a show on walk In access spots on the weber. Apparantly they pay the land owners to allow folks to fish on their property. But I'm wondering if anyone knows where that spot is? There is a list of walk in spots on the website but I'm not sure of which one it is. I'm heading up tommorrow around noon if anyone wants to join me! Thanks [signature] Re: [TylerKunz] Weber walk in access? - remo_5_0 - 02-24-2013 Ya, most all of our walk-in access on the Weeb is because the DWR pays them, comes out of our license fees I think. [signature] Re: [TylerKunz] Weber walk in access? - SatanLBZ801 - 02-24-2013 I believe that was in Peterson. Sorry east, meaning up river [signature] Re: [kochanut] Weber walk in access? - TylerKunz - 02-25-2013 Well I don't know that area very well so ill wander up and try and find it! Thanks [signature] Re: [TylerKunz] Weber walk in access? - night_flyguy - 02-25-2013 Ask SatanLBZ801, he knows exactly where it is! Its his favorite spot. I'm tempted to tell everyone the exact address for his negativity about the Rexfly but I shall refrain. PM me and I'll let you know. I'm the one in the show that caught the biggest whitefish. Total bust! [signature] Re: [SatanLBZ801] Weber walk in access? - refugeOntheFly - 02-26-2013 What i heard was that the grizzlies are real thick in there and have been gorging themselves on trout and whities. They must have caught the show and all migrated there. Anyway, real bummer cuz like you said... no more fish. Evidently grizzlies don't practice catch and release. [signature] Re: [refugeOntheFly] Weber walk in access? - SatanLBZ801 - 02-26-2013 Well all be damn, stupid grizzly bears! DNR should do something about that. So Tyler, how did it treat you today? [ ![]() [signature] Re: [refugeOntheFly] Weber walk in access? - SatanLBZ801 - 02-26-2013 I will add that the .45ACP works a little better. And has multiple uses! Bears... Idiots..... I mean! Actually, there was a case about 2 months ago of a deer behind the fairgrounds going crazy and acting a gentleman fishing. DNR showed up and it later acted them as well and I believe was put down. True story BTW! [signature] Re: [refugeOntheFly] Weber walk in access? - night_flyguy - 02-26-2013 I came across some scat up there and I had to look up the difference between black bear and grizzly crap cause I think you guys are pulling my leg. Turns out the black bear droppings are smaller about the size of a an orange and you can see bits of berries, nut shells and twigs in it. A grizzly's is much larger with little bells in it and smells like pepper spray.
