Fort Lauderdale Fishing Shark Wahoo Happy Day Today - topshotfishing - 04-28-2013 Fishing Fort Lauderdale on Happy Day Today with Capt. Zsak Three great days of fishing!! Clint Presley with his 12 year old son, Jack, from Georgia were on their way to the Virgin Islands for fishing but had problems with connecting flights so they decided to stay in Fort Lauderdale to do some deep sea sport fishing and chartered the Happy Day Today along with the Topshotfishing team for three afternoon fishing trips. In the three days of fishing, 12 year old Jack was our main angler and Dad was the photographer and second angler. On our first charter, Jack caught a juvenile White Shark, estimated weight – 200 lbs – quite exiting for Jack. Pictures were taken and the White Shark was released. He also caught a few Mahi Mahi’s and Bonitos. On our second charter, Clint was the angler and caught a Hammerhead Shark – estimated weight was 300 lbs. – pictures were taken and the Shark was released. Jack also caught a couple more Mahi Mahi’s. On our third trip, Jack caught two Kingfish, two Mahi Mahi’s, four Bonitos and a nice Wahoo that was cooked that night, along with the Mahi Mahi’s for his guests. Our technique for all three fishing charters were live bait kite fishing and trolling. Clint and Jack had three great fishing charters along with good bonding time between father and son. This was Clint’s first visit to Fort Lauderdale, FL and was impressed with the city enough to want to come back again.
