STELLWAGEN BANK,MA- Cod Fishing 2/16/02<br><br>Very windy weather conditions prevented cod trip departures during this past week.<br>However, the wind and sea conditions did calm down for Earl Harris’s group from Jamaica,NY on Saturday. <br><br>Capt. Scott and Al found the fish early in the shoal-water feeding on sand eels and herring. Good numbers of “Market” cod in the 10-12 pound size came over the rails for the angler’s jigging in the 80-120 depth. <br><br>After the morning bite slowed, the group opted to move to the deep-water to the east of the Bank. Earl hoped to get a wolfish and wasn’t disappointed. Wolffish, 6 haddock , cod and a few cusk added to the variety in the catch for the day.<br><br>B-Fast will be exhibiting at the Springfield Sportsmen’s Show in W.
