Jig Trailers? - JB_Spilker - 01-24-2014 I've been having a hard time nailing down a good jig trailer. So far I've really like the Havoc Pit Boss by Berkley: http://www.krakenbass.com/havoc-pit-boss/ What are some of everyone's thoughts on a good trailer for a standard 1/2 oz jig? I tried using the yamamoto flapping hawgs as well, and found they came off really easily. I have used a whole reaction innovations smallie beaver, and it has produced fish. I've never thought of cutting one in half. Do you thread the bait on or just let it dangle on the hook? I've used flapping hawgs as well, but the ends kept getting bite off. [signature] Re: [JB_Spilker] Jig Trailers? - fsh4fun05 - 01-27-2014 I like the Rage Tails and the Powerbait Chigger Craws. Those Flappin' Hogs are awesome baits but only good for one or two fish. Dude by the name of Paul Krew has been pouring custom baits for me. He can create any color you can think of. He does really awesome work. Send him a pic of anything and he will make a plastic worm, craw, minnow, etc. [inline Craw.jpg] [inline Craw1.jpg] [signature] Re: [fsh4fun05] Jig Trailers? - daffy - 03-11-2014 Man what a match! I also pour my own baits... I dip my own Tubes and pour my own grubs and craws but I would really like to know what type of mold he uses, is it an injection mold? Is he here on BFT? Thanks man [signature] Re: [JB_Spilker] Jig Trailers? - LLOMichalchik - 03-31-2014 We've had a lot of people using our 3.5" fat mama's and 4" swimming craws. Of course there are always grubs, which we have 40+ colors in the 4" & 5". [signature] |
