I was just reminded that I am to take a group of scouts ice fishing this Saturday, and I'm kind of scrambling to find a place. Has anybody been to Scofield lately? How was fishing and ice conditions?

bookoo ice on saturday 1/3...about 12 inches by the dam and lots of shacks out by the island. caught roughly 30 from 8-noon...about 1/2 of which were chubs 2 rainbows the rest skinny cuts. all about the same size 10-11 inches. vast majority of cuts were 7 ft and shallower 10 ft and deeper all chubs... good luck

I think you should take the boys out and put as much hurt on the chubs as you can! Just make a game out of it, and say the most fish caught gets a prize.
