Rain, Rain, Rain, but still catching over 100 fish each trip - VenicCharters - 04-19-2015 We fished Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday evening. Thursday evening I had 2 customers and we caught well over 100 redfish with 15 nice keepers, plus 2 black drums, 1 flounder, 3 sheepsheads and 10 trout. Not bad for leaving the dock at 2pm and stopping fishing for 6pm. Friday we went out around 8am, and between my 2 customers and I, we caught well over 100 redfish again, and we were limited out with 15 nice keepers by 9:30am. Saturday my trip got cancelled due to weather, but around 2pm, the sky got just a little bit brighter and the rain stopped, so I took Anthony out on a fun trip and the action was incredible. Anthony used all 50 tags that he had in just a little over an hour. We'd throw 5 on the deck, and Anthony would stop fishing, tag all 5 and we just kept doing that over and over until it started raining on us again. I never really took any dock shots and was barely able to take any action shots because I've been constantly netting and unhooking fish all weekend. Here's the only pics I did take, enjoy; [signature] |
