Mercury Mark 55a question - MacFisher - 05-25-2015
So I just bought a 17 ft aluminum boat and it has a 1959 Mercury Mark 55a. Got the fuel line connected and holy crap IT RUNS!!! Lucky me. I just want to verify the the impellar is working correctly. I know where the inlet is but where does it "pee"? Does it come out the exhaust that is just behind the inlet? Anything information helps.

It should come out just below or at the bottom of the main engine housing.
