Albakore back-packs - Milo - 03-15-2002 I got one of those new Albakore back-packs at the Fred Hall show in L.B. and I gotta tell you......they are sweet!!! They are perfect for fresh or saltwater. I have now used mine at Santa Ana River Lakes and over at Catalina. I would say they would be perfect for any style of fishing up to a 3 day trip.

They have a storage space on the top like a litte reel bag, a cooler for lunch and drinks, space for multiple tackle trays, side pockets for storage, 2 rod holders, and best of all it is a back-pack so it is very easy to wear around.

They just came out but they will be available in stores soon I am pretty sure.

They are worth it!! Anybody else get one at the show?

Milo Re: Albakore back-packs - ssor - 03-15-2002 Did not make the show, but have seen lots of great reviews about it. I will be looking for this item in the stores and online as it sounds like the perfect fishing companion for me. If any one knows where it can be purchased let me know.

Texas gulf cost fisher. Re: Albakore back-packs - booyaa - 03-15-2002 I am going to have to second that Miloz. I also got one of the tackle bags and it is absolutely awesome. I had a chance to bond with Jeff Joust, his wife Naomi and there son. What a cool family. Best of luck to you and your Albackore line of products, as Steve Badman might say.....

No Worries Mate.

Booyaa To Ya'!
http://www.booyaaclothing.com
Romero Re: Albakore back-packs - MasterJigBuilder - 03-15-2002 That's exactly right Mike. A serious case of "no worries mate" on those bags. As Milo said, they are as sweet as and fly anglers will drool over them to I reckon.

I know this bloke already does and can see a clear use for them in either fresh or salt when carrying the long wand.

Go you good thing!

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Mod-Lures/Baits & Oz Boards
http://www.demonjigs.com Re: Albakore back-packs - fishtacomag - 03-15-2002 Jeff sent me one before the show to do a preview on-and I am not saying this because it was a freebie-but the bag is awsome. YOu can check them out and probably purchase one on their web site. And to top it off when I met Jeff it was a pleasure because he was such a nice guy. And to really top it off Jeff was pleased with the people who told him they saw his product in FTC and came to his booth to check it out.

Re: Albakore back-packs - ssor - 03-15-2002 OK guys, I am keeping a good eye on yall. you keep talking around my question.
