Panfish at Swan Falls? - hooknhunter - 03-15-2016
Anyone have consistent success catching panfish at Swan Falls? I've accidentally caught a couple, but whenever I target them, I come up zeros. Any help would be appreciated. PM's are fine if you don't want to share on the open forum.
I don't seem to have any trouble catching bass down there. Just panfish.

I've not fished the reservoir but have wondered about how many crappie or perch might be available. Years ago there were some crappie below the reservoir.

When I had a Jet boat, I had a spot that would produce crappie at dusk. I could never get them to bite during the day. not sure why. But put me on the spot at dusk, no problem. ( below the dam )
Last year was getting 10 and 12 inch perch up in the reservoir. Was a nice treat, released them all and hope that they would not be found.... or at least depleted.
I have yet to find the crappie in the reservoir, but I'm sure they are there, somewhere.
