Where to find Solvent - Old_Coot - 05-25-2016 Do any of you know where I can buy a gallon of parts cleaning solvent in the Davis/Weber area? I would like to get some to clean wheel bearing parts. Somewhere close to Clinton would be best. Thanks, --- Coot --- [signature] Re: [Old_Coot] Where to find Solvent - fish_hntr - 05-25-2016 [quote Old_Coot]Do any of you know where I can buy a gallon of parts cleaning solvent in the Davis/Weber area? I was hoping someone actually knew where I could buy a gallon of auto parts cleaning solvent. But then again, maybe auto parts cleaning solvent and lacquer thinner are the same thing. But I doubt it. I use to get it from them years ago ... but no more. I was driving around town recently and seen a billboard saying "we sell propane and solvent". But I don't remember where I seen that. Sure wish I could remember. Works great and costs about $18 or so. I buy it at Walmart. They are refillable after you buy your first can. [signature] Re: [libertysyclone] Where to find Solvent - Old_Coot - 07-02-2016 Bingo!!! Thanks Liberty, that is the place that I seen them advertise it and I couldn't remember. Again, thanks! [signature] |
