Sunday fishing at Pineview, slow.

Went out to cemetery point Sunday to try for perch and crappie. We started off on the South side, caught small perch on bottom in 40+ depth. All the perch were hanging to the bottom. kept fishing around the point to North side. Finally found more perch in 45-50' depth, but no size, mostly 7", caught (1) 10" crappie also on bottom. Used mealworms and glow jigs. Ice was sturdy enough for snow machines but under the 5" crust was a 8" layer of slush then solid ice. left ice at 1600.

Sounds like a slow day. Hoping to get up there for some crappie soon. That place is fun when they are biting.
