Pineview Narrows?

Has anyone night fished at the narrows yet this season? If yes, how was the ice?[fishon]

Two days ago there was a small group fishing without a tent about half way down the narrows. There was a tent setup in "windsurfer" cove. I don't know the depth, but you can see by their tracks they were able to walk all around.

I think your problem will be the parking since the pull offs are filled with snow when I drove by.

Saturday the ice was 8 solid inches, but take a plank the edges are terrible.

How many crappie did you catch that night? What depth of water were you fishing? [fishon]

We fished it early Saturday morning. I think the total count of crappie between 4 of us was 39 fish, all 9-10".

We were fishing in 47 to 55 ft of water.

1st fish thru the hole at 7:30, I left at 10 and the rest of our party were still catching fish.

There was a single car there this evening when I was leaving this evening. 1-18 About the only spot to pull a car just off the edge of the road, by edge I mean edge. on the north side past the house. Im sure it was a rough hike off the side, its pretty sharp down to the lake... But driving the road on the way in I seen the tracks up and down the narrows as stated... edges looked ok from the road but better safe then sorry so as noted Bring your self a plank.
