Was on the ice at 6:15 in 47 ft of water. Marking fish like crazy, but no bites. At 6:50 they started biting and it was steady action until about 8:30. Slowed way down after that . At 9:45 I started moving around trying to relocate fish. Only got one loner crappie late in the morning so I called it quits.
14 crappie, 4 jumbo perch, a few missed bites, and some just came unbuttoned un the way up.
Watched a guy just slay the smaller perch late morning in 27 ft of water. He asked me if I wanted to join in but after being spoiled by the nice ones earlier, it just didn't appeal to me. Would have been great if I would have brought my kids, they love that.
