Any ice conditions updates on Pineview (from yesterday or today) ?
I'll report if/when I head up there but hoping someone else has some recent updates.

Fished browning point yesterday for a few hours. Left around noon. Edges were fine, but there was about a foot of slush. Walking on the trails left by snowmobiles made it a lot easier.

Fished Browning last night with two friends. The ice looked horrible but was really good. Edge was solid, about 3 inches of slushy if you stayed on frozen trails. 12 in of cloudy frozen slush then 10 in or so solid clear ice. When we left last night all the slush was solid and walking out was a breeze.
The fishing was absolutely crazy! We were the only people on the ice and the fish were eager to die. Quite a few times that two or all three of us were hooked up at once.

Welcome to the site pdogg, thanks for the post. Did you have any luck with the crappie or perch?

Thanks. Caught one crappie right off the bat and then nothing, not a single bite after that.

Well thats too bad, seems like getting there early or fishing late is the key to doing good there. Better luck next time.
