First tube trip 2017

Got my pontoon out for the first time out this season. Good decision. Went to Utah Lake and got into a few white bass and crappie. All were caught on a Chartruse jig about three feet of water. Do not know what the water temp was. It was still verrrry cool. Not Lincoln Beach!

Very nice! Can't wait to get out on openwork after as well.. is utah lake fish safe to eat?

I have eaten fish from Utah Lake for the last 15 years. Just like most lakes in Utah there are lead and arsenic warnings. Because of turbidity issues and being shallow it has off color water that makes some folks think it is not clean water. As with ally ah lakes eat the fish but in moderation.

I've eaten plenty of fish from Utah lake as well.. I was more concerned now because of that toxic algae that shut down the lake last year.
