Daniel's or Deep creek

Anyone hit these lately? How was the ice?

My friend said he and several members of his family tried Daniel's and Devil's Creek this a.m. (sat.) and couldn't get on because of receding shore line....He also said then they tried Deep Creek, and he or someone in their party got pretty wet breaking through the edge trying to get on, so they gave up on that also....he said about a 10 or 12' heavy plank or ladder may have worked, but what they had was too short.....Guluk....
