Just curious if anybody would be so kind as to provide an update on the ice conditions for the edges at Pineview. Any info would be greatly appreciated I'm thinking of heading up there tomorrow afternoon. Thanks in advance!

Friday night all was good.....except for the catching and getting soaked by the rain. Me and my friend each caught one and nothing more. We were there at cemetery from 5 till 9. Everybody we spoke with had the same luck.
The weather may turn cold again this week enough to make the weekend good.
Good luck if you go and please report.
Thanks,
LT

I went up Sunday with my 2 young boys. The ice was 80% covered with water. There was a couple groups out off browning but nowhere else. The ice looked horrible with drainholes visible. We passed on going out. Even if the ice was good, I'm pretty sure my boys would have been miserable. Stay safe if you go.

Deep water off, pat star fish and I went to PV on Sunday and I went back on Monday. Sunday there was in fact water on top, when we arrived at 10, there was only about an inch. By 1 pm there were several spots that were "dry". And at 3 when we left most of the water had drained off. We caught 8ish medium perch and 10 crappie between us.
I saw that it was going to freeze Sunday night and the ice was still over 12 inches the previous day, I took 5 kids under 10 and a first timer. It was a brave undertaking but all had fun, stayed dry, and landed a couple of fish. The perch were caught about 30 fow and the crappie were at 45 fow. Most were caught on wax worms. The drain holes were easy enough to avoid and the water was murky both days. No slush, we were one of the groups off browning.
There is a lot of water coming into PV now, but they are sending tons down river. The lower Ogden looks maxed at close to high runoff levels. With them blowing so much water out the edges have been great. There is ice up on the shore, some one braver then I, had a sled in the ice, it looked like they entered on the port ramp.
