Huntington North - Still very slow
#1
I fished HN again today hoping that the warm weather had encouraged the fish to start biting, wrong.[:/]

I launched my tube at 11:30 and fished until 3:00 and picked up this seasons first wiper, it was 21" and 3 lbs. 15 oz. I caught it about an hour after I got in and I fished the rest of the time without so much as a nibble.
I caught the fish on a [#0000bf]TubeDude[/#0000bf] size 8 bead head green meanie pattern using a fast sinking (#8) line.
The water temperature was 52-55 degrees and the visibility in the water of about 4'. The reservoir is 97% full and dropping slowly.

It was another slow day on the pond but the water is starting to warm so better days are coming.[Smile]

Too bad the catching was so slow but thats a good wiper and that water is so clear, I bet was still nice to get out there. What is that tall pole in the back ground of your first pic?

It is a power pole for a high voltage transmission line that runs just south of the reservoir.
