Tried Willard again last night. Caught 1 nice wiper and had another on and a few other hits.
We tried lots of lures and speeds, planer boards etc. We even tried divers and adding trolling weights to the lines and downriggers to try to get them down deeper. Saw lots of fish on the graph anywhere between 12 and 20 ft down. I assume they are higher too, just not in the sonar cone.
Had a friend in another boat who had he exact same results. We both caught our only fish at exactly the same time right about 8:00
It's been a tough year up there for me.
Anyone have any tips, ideas or thoughts?
