I was at Electric Lake last Saturday. The ice was gone and the lake coming up fast probably 15 feet from full pool. The was snow covering access roads to the lake. If we get warm weather before Memorial Day you may be able to launch. There was fresh snow there today. EL has cut throat, tiger trout and Kokanee. [reply][/reply]

We usually camp north of the lake 2 miles then west up a dirt road 2 miles...do u think snow is deep off the side roads

The commuterlink camera between Huntington and Cleveland is offline but the ones down the canyon are on and man there's a lot of snow.

I know a few guys who were just up there with snowmobiles over the weekend and they received fresh snow since, so you may want to bring chains along with you if considering roads with any shaded areas where drifts are inevitable. We haven't been up there over memorial in 3 or 4 years, last time was wet snow and hail so my wife said we will not be going up unless later in the summer.

Don't waste your time trying to camp or launch a boat up there for several more weeks. There is still tons of snow up there.
