Benson Marina 5/28

[Tin-Can]

Went back up to Benson with my son today. Was his first chance to get out on the water this year. Weather was beautiful, we were the only boat on the water. Caught one large Carp, and he caught one small Bullhead. But while we were anchored up just off the first west side irrigation slough, got to meet and talk awhile with BFTer "lavaman"

I sure do wish whoever is in charge of that area would get the docks put in the water at the ramp.

Added the Carp to my stock of bait I'm saving up for a trip to Utah Lake next month.

Today's Carp was about 1/4 inch shorter than the one I posted to the Fishing Challenge, so didn't bother with a bump board photo.

I think the wife and I are going to make an early try at Willard again tomorrow. On the water by about 7 A.M. off by noon.

Great talking with you TinCan ... Its a shame the kitties didn't want to play except for this single channel that looked like it's been eating real well.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer day.

We will have to fish together soon. Maybe meet Pat and BLK at Utah Lake next month?
