Learning Berry Kokes

A big thank you to Liketrolling. I won the big prize at the Floatila that included many Kokanee lures. Not knowing how to fish for Koke, Robert added a guided trip to Strawberry and a lesson on downrigger use.

Yesterday we met up to begin my schooling. He has his downrigger use for Kokes and Cuts down to a science. He said that the day didn't go as well as expected. I thought that it was good. We caught several Cuts, two Kokes, and a rainbow before leaving about 2pm..

Today I'm smoking the two Kokes and I hope they turn out well.

Welcome to the forum Burley. I'd say you won the jackpot, getting to go out with Robert to learn koke trolling. He's the best, and not only very knowledgeable but also very willing to share his knowledge. Hope to meet you one of these days, maybe on the water.
