Hit dc at 6:30 this morning, worked the island with a jerk bait for 1 hr. Nothing. Then my fishing partner went to sako worm and grabbed 5 smallies.
Moved to the inlet and worked shallow in the weeds, just carp roufhousing around.
Switch to bottom bouncers and started getting rainbows, on the bottom and on top till about 10. Not the preferred fishy but good for fun and eating.
Water was 65 degrees and best depths were around 23 feet.
Worked the edges by the train, found some smallies and bait fishermen were getting good trout about one pound.
Thanks Gary let's do the berry.

Yes that was the preferred fish. Using jerk bait and swim baits at first. Then went to lindy rig and bottom bouncers. Trout were all over the Lundy rig and worm.
