Hit Utah Lake early yesterday The cats are still in shallow and aggressive. I caught 7 cats between 24 and 27 in all on 2 inch grubs. A lot of fun on the light gear I was using. I lost a few fish but caught enough for a great fish fry. The fish were between 2 and 5 feet off the rocks and some of them are pretty beat up from the spawning festivities. All in all a good morning and home by noon. I love it when I can hardly lift the fish basket.

[#0000FF]Fun, fun. I can't count the trips I have been dragging bait on one rod and pitching small jigs on the other...and have ended up catching more and bigger cats on the jigs than on bait. And you are right. Those feisty kitties on light tackle really bend your stick and stretch your string.
