Some guys deserve a quick fishing trip on a boat

Today was a family boating day at Jordanelle. The wife and I arrived at Jordanelle about 7:30 this morning and found two youngsters who had been fishing, from the shore, since about 2:30 A.M. I asked how the catching was and they said they caught a couple nice rainbows around 4:00 A.M. I told them that anyone who was that dedicated deserved to have a fishing trip from a boat. I explained that the family wasn't arriving until about 10:00 A.M. and I would gladly take them out to catch some bass. One of them said he had never caught a bass. I had thrown one rod in, for just in case, and also a few drop shot weights and my plastic baits were on board. We only were able to fish for a couple hours and they missed a ton of bites, but they also landed some and I let them both reel in a couple bass after I hooked them.
