East Canyon and Jordanelle

Hit up Easy canyon for about 3 hrs from the shore this past wednesday, tried to target rainbows with powerbait, no love after moving around a few spots.

So we headed to Jordanelle and with the same tactic we had our first fish on within minutes of our first cast. We ended the day with 8 nice rainbows and drove off into the sunset victorious.

After giving up my boat last year it was sure great to have some renewed faith in good ole shore fishing. P.S they tasted GREAT!

Thanks for the report, good to hear that fishing from shore at Jordanelle is producing. What part of East Canyon were you fishing? I've heard of folks that do better in the back, in Taylor's Hollow.
