Did you net them or hook them? Did you go just below the dam?

I gave the chubs away
I netted them I was just below the dam on the north side
if I had a good throw with the net I would get over 30 at a time
I have a 6' net.

Is that a 6 foot radius or diameter? it seems small for diameter, but greater than legal size for radius. For purpose of this discussion, I will assume you used a 6 foot diameter.

To take nonprohibited nongame fish, you
may use angling, traps, archery, dipnets, cast
nets, liftnets, seines or a handheld spear from
above the surface of the water. You may use
a crossbow only if you’re taking carp. When
using these methods, please remember the
following rules:
•Seines (nets) may not exceed 10 feet in
length or width.
Cast nets may not exceed 10 feet in
diameter (a five-foot radius
)
