]The cold weather can't discourage my son and his friends. I was hesitating on going fishing in the cold and snow yesterday but after those young men got me going it had to be one of the best times I have had fishing. We went to a small stream on Pine Valley near the Oakgrove area. In about a foot of snow a light snow flurries we got out the gear and found a hole or two. Almost a fast as the line hit the water we were geting strikes. As we are big on catch a release we each caught 6-8 fish in under 1 hour. These little cut throats most between 6-10 inches were just a pleasure to hook and fun to to bring in. I can't tell you all how much I enjoyed a few minutes with my son and his friends. Fishing is not only about catching fish is who you spend the time with. If you ever are feeling like life is over running you take the boy's advice and go fishin.
