Flaming Gorge and Strawberry
#1
Strawberry Thursday, was 14 deg, when I left it was 50 deg
a lot of fog early when the fog was gone saw two boats west of haws point.
they moved did not see them again
it was hard to find the fish but when I did it was fun. stayed trolling over them
may have caught some of the same fish 10 times. water temp at 9 AM was 41.8 deg.
all cuts between 18 and 23" all good fighters. fishing in 75 feet of water downrigger down 25'
boat dock still in the water. stopped fishing at 12:45

At Flaming gorge Tuesday
three boat trailers at Lucerene counting mine
I think the Lakers are moving out of Linwood bay
This is the biggest laker I got he is 38" long

took a picture with a Samsung cell phone and a Nikon COOLPIX P900 Digital Camera it has a 83x Optical Zoom and Optical Sensor Resolution 16 megapixels.
with this camera I cut the tail of of the laker lot of sun and I was in a hurry to get the laker back in the watet
I was trolling about 2.4 MPH you can see how flat the water was at FG

both days I was fishing alone

on the Picture Attachment for Nikon the size was 8 MB I cut it down to 3 MB
may have lost some of the color, was thinking 8MB would be slow to download

Nice report on Strawberry. Glad to hear that you are using your new Nikon P900. As I remember, you told me it was going to be your wife's new camera. Haha. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. The cropped pic still looks great at 3MP. You will find out that it is great for wildlife pics with that 83x optical zoom.

I was there on Wednesday and only two trailers including mine in the parking lot. Fished from 8am to 2 pm and not any bites. Did mark a lot of fish in the channel. Linwood bay didn't have much activity. Trolled from 1.4 to 2.7 at all depths threw everything and the tackle box at them with no takers. Don't know what I am doing wrong but fishing is still better then going to work.
