Took the day off on Monday and hit Strawberry. It was a gorgeous day, mostly cloudy high of 30* and no wind what so ever. There were a few snowmobiles heading out shortly after I got there around 8:00. Other than that I only saw one other fisherman near the Marina all day.
I tried a new spot East of the Marina and immediately caught a couple fish and had several more on the finder. After it slowed a bit I wandered around trying different depths. Managed a couple more the rest of the day but overall it was very slow. There was about a foot of snow on the ice so it was a good workout pulling my gear around. Much better than a day at work though!
