Hello,
We were thinking of going to Scofield or Strawberry this weekend. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to ice fish until now this season.
Does anybody know how the edges are at Scofield, or general conditions at Strawberry. I was hoping someone could provide some feedback if they've been to either place this week.

Hit the Berry yesterday, there's a good 12-14" of good ice most everywhere... We did find some areas of 8" ice... We hit a couple slushy areas south of Haws point, but they weren't too bad yesterday... Edges are fine... Ice is as good as I've seen it all year up there... Temps were -10 F to 40 ish when we left... You would be fine fishing there this weekend... just keep in mind to always expect the unexpected... Later J

How much snow is on the ice? See any atvs out there? How was the fishing? Thanks

At places there was up to a foot of snow, but ATV's were getting out there just fine.. Only issues was a couple slush spots south of Haws that might be tricky on ATV..
Fishing was good.... J
