Went out to the island to see if any whiskers were nibbling around 3pm. It was a bit breezy to start and lake was a bit wavy when we got there but not enough to deter me. I told my son if it gets any worse whatsoever we’ll turn around. About 3/4 of the it turned to the glassy look and the sun came out for a bit. The water temp was a bit lower than the other day. Depending on where we were it was between 47 and 49 degrees. The first stop we made we only donated metal and flouro to the island. So we moved and sit for a while and wasn’t catching anything at least the bobbers and lines were showing. I wanted to go sportsman’s so we went to reel in and low and behold we had fish on the line. They gave up a pretty decent fight for never "hitting" the hook. The one was about 5 lb chunk and the other about 3 lb. pics are contest as I’m posting this under my iPad and pics are on phone. But the wind was starting to pick up again and I didn’t want to get caught out there either so we called it fortunate circumstance and left.
