Just saw s post saying that ice off has started there was no snow in the pic and the ice was around 20 yards off the shore.

I was there on Saturday (4/7) and I tried to get to Renegade in my truck. I would say the road is in an in-between state right now. I did not make it all the way to Renegade, I turned around right before the turn-off to Haws. The hill just before the turn-off to Haws still had about 2-3" of snow on it. The rest of the road was totally clear however. So for the most part I would say the road is clear and you wouldn't want to drive your snowmobile on that

Thanks Guys. Looks like I'll be putting the Ice Gear and machines away this weekend instead. Hope for better ice year next year.
