Sand Hollow 04/14
#1
Took the nieces and nephews to Sand Hollow yesterday and got into some largemouth. The fishing wasn't fast and furious (although keep in mind they were all brand new to bass fishing) so we did miss several and it was a process getting the techniques down..... Right off the bat I caught 2 nice largemouth in about 5 casts while giving instructions and then handed off the rods to the kids for the day. It was one of the better fishing trips I've had to see the excitement on their faces bringing in the fish that they did catch.

Fished senkos and ned rigs from 5 - 30 feet deep from about 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Water temp was right around 60 degrees. Lots of fisherman, not too many water sports folks out yet.
