Porcupine Slow
#1
Slow day at the pig, but it was a pretty (also freezing) view.

1 kokanee in 4 hours and he was just a little guy.

Water temp was 42.5 degrees.

Water's coming over the spillway, no logs or any kind of debris in the water, no ice, road is in pretty decent condition compared to fall last year.

I'd give it another 2ish weeks before trying again - let the water get closer to that magical 50-degree mark.

Thanks for the report and pic. I found your statement to be very true when fishing there, catching is always better when the water temp is above 50 degrees. With the unsettled weather we have been having, it's going to be tough for it to get that warm for at least two week, IMO. Were you marking many fish?
