Threw a square bill like KVD but they wore me out, LOl. Caught about 15 but only 3 legals for about 8lbs. Lost fish's 4 & 5 or would have weighed in. Caught 2 on a spinnerbait and one on an r/c squarebill. Threw them back and went to the house. At least more fish are showing up shallow. Still a tough bite, IMO. most of the short fish were 2 yr old 14"'ers. Water temp was 67 AM, and 73 by 2PM. I've about had it with this lake. Hope the fishing at Nick is a little better with the upcoming CFF but I'm not holding my breath.
