I had just finished putting as many pieces of my boat back on as I could find - used half a roll of duct tape and a tube of silicone - and was contemplating just where in the back yard I would have to bury the boat in the near future if I had many more "adventures", when the phone rang. It was Spurhunter, looking for someone of weak mind to go fishing with him. He knew just who to call, too. He wanted to go to Watts Bar dam. Being somewhat addled from my last adventure, I jumped in the car and hit the road for Spur's house. It was not until I was nearly there that I realized that the brain damage might be worse than I thought.

So there I was..............

We had made a number of fruitless drifts in Spur's boat when my mind and vision cleared just in time to see the dam wall rushing at me! Uh-oh again! Double uh-oh again!! As I wet the floor (again)(my prostate must not be as enlarged as the doctor thought) I thought "been here, done this" and figured that this was going to leave another mark. Yep, I was right! I think we even hit the same discharge bay corner. Ummm, it seems Spur doesn't have a constipation problem anymore either. The splintering sound was soooo familiar, but this adventure had a different twist. Spur's boat has this really nifty t-top that you can stick your spare rods in to keep them out of harm's way and they stick straight up. Of course, when we were driven back into one of the bays (backwards), it just had to be one that had the "garage door" mostly down and it cleared the t-top by two feet but the rods were less fortunate. Spur's snapped partway down the handle and mine (ugly stik) didn't break, but it destroyed or stripped every guide off, including the tip. Now we're sitting in the back of the bay (the motor had quit of course) looking at each other with BIG eyes and starting to giggle (with relief). I think Jenny Craig will have TWO new customers.

The rest of the trip was kind of boring..............

And my doctor STILL wants me to have a stress test?????????? A brain scan, maybe, but a stress test????????
