Got a PM from a member that reported a problem he was having with BFT, please reply with your browser type, if you are having this same issue.
"Losing Scroll Bar
I need to refresh the screen a couple times before the screen has a scroll bar - started a few weeks back and I've lived with it but ....
It usually happens when you first visit the BFT site and after you refresh the screen a few times it fixes itself."
I use a Chrome Browser "

Third person with the problem, and Chrome. If I let it set without moving the mouse or doing anything until it is completely loaded, it works. If I do it too fast, it locks it up.
With IE, it locks up when I am writing a response, especially if it is too long. I need to write my response and then copy and paste.

Have had it happen on my phone using Chrome and on my laptop using whatever comes with Windows 10 (Microsoft edge I think).
But it is intermittent and sometimes won't happen for days.

Wow, sounds like chrome might be causing this issue, maybe edge too. I'm having the same issue using Chrome. Now I'm wondering if members with another browser are effected[:/]. I've contacted the owner, waiting on a response. I'm sure they will get their tech folks on this ASAP and get us an answer.

Latest chrome on up to date android. It's done that to me for a long time. Months? It's intermittent though, perhaps is an issue one out of 5-10 visits. It only happens when opening a thread, not on the main forum screen listing topics/threads.
For me though, the more aggravating bug is how the forum list loads on a mobile device. It's slow and cumbersome coding, so it loads slowly even on a computer, but that's exacerbated on a mobile device. As a result as I start to zoom in on a topic to tap on it the screen moves on me as a new element loads. It'll do this 5 6 7 times before the screen is finally loaded well enough to remain stable. it would be far more efficient if the page would download its layout so that that's defined and in place and then individually load the elements rather than adjusting the layout for each of the elements as they load.
Even typing this reply the site is very laggy compared to any other sites I visit. The coding on this web page is clunky and interfering with reasonable performance

Those of us troglodytes on real computers and running Firefox have no issues at all.

Had the problem with Chrome a week ago but it hasn't done it lately. Also, ticky I know, but while we're fixing things could we get the time stamp right? I't's an hour off for me.

Chrome on Winders 8...
Did it a few months ago then cleared up, it's back now with a vengeance (every other page load).

I'm using Edge and have had this problem for months. I also can not load inline pictures into a post using Edge (Some toolbars don't appear).

LOL, the problem you are having has to do with you not setting up your profile page correctly. When I get a few minutes, I'll send you a PM explaining how to fix that time issue.
