East Canyon Bass Fishing
#1
Going to give east canyon a shot for some spring bass fishing. Any suggestions on what type of lures to use. This will be a first time fishing east canyon for bass. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome!

Thanks!

I drove by yesterday, looking at camping sight. Verygood camp grounds.
The water is high and lots of willows are flooded. Good place to start. Up by the inlet to try, and at the end of the arm.
There are some rocky banks and a good step side to try.
I didn't see any boats bass fishing but was told rainbow fishing with pop gear and worm good.
I hear there are other fish to try. Wipers, crappy. If you get crappy I would like to hear back. Look for them to "maybe" post spawn now

EC has a lot of smallies. No largemouth that I'm aware of, but it's always possible. I do best on small cranks along the rocky banks, drop shot rigs with small minnows or crawfish plastics, and bladed swim jigs.

Next time I go, I'm going to try a Ned rig and some small chatterbaits.
