We blasted off and ran up to the dam and I caught a keeper on the fist cast. That is usually a bad thing! However Ronnie and I caught probably 20 fish on jigs, shakey's and spinner baits there but we only had a small limit of three keepers. We finally moved our way back down river and fished the rip raps, again with jigs, spinner baits and shakey's. I think we culled two of our fish doing that. We finished up catching probably over 30 fish but with only a little over 9 lbs. total weight. We just never could get a quality bite.
