got out sunday morning for bit, fished around shallow. threw a frog around a bunch but had to resort to flipping/pitching to get a few bites before calling it a morning. no bigs but always fun to jerk on em with short string and long rod. just gonna mention this, i used to fish a jig A LOT, but have switched to using a hand tied skirted tungsten weight from TrueSouth. same profile as the jig but MUCH more weedless specially around grass. just thought id mention that as the bites i got sunday came on that.
