This is my first attempt doing this so bare with me!<br /><br />I had a couple of hours free yesterday afternoon so i headed out. Stopped in a cove right down from my house with some nice grass that i had been catching some fish in. Started out using a lipless crankbait and top water on the outside edge as this is what i had been catching some by doing. This stretch is about 200 yards long and i caught 3 keepers, on my first pass i decided to change it up a little. Coming back out i switched to a jig and began flipping and pitching the edges and any openings in the mat, well this was the ticket! By the time i got back to the starting point i had caught 2 nice fish one was over 5lbs and the second was about 4lbs with a couple of smaller ones as well.
