A crappie and bass trip yesterday. I fished near the Wolftever Bridge area. A lot of shad at all depths and the seagulls are showing up after them. I caught some crappie the first half of my trip and then bass fished for awhile. The crappie I caught were around shad and a couple of bass I caught were shallow. A pic of one I caught on a white buzzbait in about 3 feet. Check out the black splotches. Melanosis -- an increase in the melanin of the skin.
