Fished the Chick yesterday. Nice day to be in the water. I picked up Alicia at the ramp around noon. Thought some lake therapy would help with the loss of her brother. This was our first time to fish together. We had a great time. Looking forward to our next trip. We bounced around and caught a few on frogs. The mats are small, few & far between & are dissapearing fast. Todays rain & wind will probably be the death. The more consistant action was on spoons. Alicia gave me a tutorial on spoon fishing. Found some schooling fish in 15-20'. Caught stripe, crappie & a catfish. Had to head back to the ramp at 6:00 to make it back for church. I think we could have caught more if we could have fished till dark.
