Echo Reservoir 12-24-18
#1
Where: Echo Reservoir
~100 yards west of the boat ramp.
When: 12-24-2018 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Fish Caught: 3 Total
Rainbow - 17" 26 FOW/Green jig head w/paddlebug tipped with perch meat
Perch - 4" - 27 FOW/Green jig head w/paddlebug tipped with Gulp maggot
Rainbow - 16" 3 FOW (yes 3!) dead stick on a Green jig head w/paddlebug tipped with Gulp maggot

Marked a lot of fish on the fish finder and missed a lot of tiny bites. We were probably using to large of jigs for Perch.

Ice Condition: Solid Ice (4"-5") but soft edge at 11:00 AM. Thanks to the fisherman who left the 6' plank near the state park boat ramp.

Lots and lots of company on the ice. Catching was slow, but I had great company from my 17 YO daughter, 15 YO son, and 10 YO son.
